This notice explains, specifically for candidates and consultants, what it means to submit your profile to skanda and how your information is used from that point onward. It works alongside our full Privacy Policy, which covers all the ways skanda handles personal data.

What you are consenting to

By submitting your CV or profile to skanda — by email, through this website, or by any other means — you consent to skanda holding your information in our recruitment database and evaluating you for relevant roles, as described below.

Information we collect from you

Name and contact details, resume/CV, employment history, education, skills and certifications, current and expected compensation, notice period, and — where a specific engagement requires it — identity and background-verification documents such as government ID numbers, address proof, and employment or education certificates.

How we use it

We use your information to assess your fit for open positions, to share relevant profiles with client organisations for hiring consideration, and to coordinate interviews and offers on your behalf.

Sharing with client organisations

Your profile is shared with a client only in connection with a specific hiring requirement you are being considered for — never sent out broadly or without a genuine role in view.

Background verification

Where a placement requires background verification, the relevant documents you provide are shared with our verification partner for that purpose only.

No fees from candidates

skanda never collects any fee from candidates or consultants for recruitment or placement services, at any stage.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or ask us not to share your profile with a specific client, at any time, by writing to us using the details below.

How long we keep it

We retain your information for as long as reasonably needed to consider you for opportunities and to meet our legal, tax, and compliance obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
